Welcome! I’m Carina Sexton the founder of Mahjong Mixers. My passion isn't just about teaching the game—it is about the joy of connecting people, giving back to our local neighborhood, and building a vibrant community right here in Central Florida.

I fell in love with the community aspect of American Mahjong because it is one of the absolute best ways to bring people together. I designed our levels to take the intimidation out of the game and replace it with a fun, welcoming social experience. Whether you are a total beginner taking your first steps with Tina Tiles, an intermediate player building card strategy with Betty Bam, or a social regular like Chelsea Charleston, I make sure every session feels like a warm gathering of friends.

With deep roots in the Orlando and Winter Park communities, I love creating structured, supportive spaces where neighbors can disconnect from screens, laugh, and make lasting local bonds.
